LOVELY PAVIA: can be visited by those who travel from London, Paris, New York, Moscow and Riyadh, stop in Milan for a few days and have never visited the area... 30 km from Piazza Duomo in Milan
LOVELY PAVIA is a great “ambassador” of Pavia’s province: the visit can start by having lunch with some risotto (made with locally grown rice) and a glass (or two...) of Oltrepò wine, this followed by a visit to the spectacular Certosa di Pavia.
More and more tourists come to Milan from all over the world looking for the great local attractions and food: shopping in Via Montenapoleone, a tour in Galleria Vittorio Emanuele, a visit to Leonardo's Cenacolo and a dinner on the Naviglio Grande...
Along the Naviglio, leaving from Milan, you begin to appreciate the Lombardy countryside: water, rice fields surround Vigevano and its beautiful main square. In proximity of the Po river you will also find rolling hills, endless vineyards, culinary delights and cool cellars.
